VOTE NO SIGNCreekers send Question 1 down in flames

Unofficial results for the May 15 special election indicate Creekers not only voted no, but voted “hell no,” sending Question 1, a property tax to pay for fire protection service, down in flames with a 64 percent landslide. With approximately 60 percent of the 3,294 registered voters returning ballots in this all-mail election, the turnout rivals that of the Walmart referendum.
