Triple R Horse Rescue expands Board of Directors
Tom Peters accepts position as head of Fund Raising at Triple R Horse Rescue
CAVE CREEK– Triple R Horse Rescue welcomes Tom Peters, their newest board member and chairman of fund raising.
"Tom has a wealth of knowledge and experience about horses and business and we are excited to have him as an addition to the Triple R family." Ken Bacher, president of Triple R Horse Rescue.
In his business career, Tom was a principal or owner in several consulting firms in the Chicago, IL area. He spent 20 years in the financial service and commodity industries. Tom helped design, develop and implement the first international trading system at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. At the time, the Internet was still maturing, but Tom shared the vision that the Internet would become the catalyst for new and exciting business and social models. Tom used this knowledge to teach eBusiness and eCommerce to others around the globe, including Paris, London, China, Singapore, Malaysia and throughout the United States.
Tom lives in the Phoenix area with his wife Claudia and his horse Rudi. Tom trained his sorrel Quarter Horse to be an all-around good ranch horse. But don't be fooled by Rudi's solid work ethic; he's very curious and playful. In fact, if you see Tom without his hat, it's usually thanks to Rudi pulling it off and waving it around.
Tom will oversee all fund raising activities for the rescue. He will be organizing new fund raising efforts as well as improving on already established programs.
Triple R Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Cave Creek, Arizona. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home horses in need. They are 100 percent volunteer run with volunteers pouring their dedication and determination into providing daily care for all of the horses as they search for their forever home.
