The official first-day-of-issue ceremony is taking place June 2 in New York City at the world’s largest stamp show that only takes place in the United States once a decade, World Stamp Show-NY 2016. More than 250,000 visitors are expected to attend. Similar to Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, more than a dozen special dedication ceremonies will take place on June 2 at or near the National Park locations depicted on the stamps.
