Learn CPR on May 18th during World CPR Challenge
Rural/Metro Fire Department is participating in the World CPR Challenge May 18th. The idea of the challenge is to teach as many people as possible compression-only CPR in one day. We invite all citizens of Cave Creek, Carefree, Desert Hills, and the Rio Foothills areas to join us and learn this life saving technique. This is an informal, non-certification class taught by the local firefighters that only takes five to 10 minutes to learn. Five minutes is a short investment to learn how to save a life. There will be three convenient locations for those wanting to attend:
Desert Foothills Library in Cave Creek at 38443 N. Schoolhouse Road. Hours 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
100 Easy Street in Carefree (the post office building). Hours 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Fire Station 826, 16309 E. Rio Verde Drive. Hours 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
