ALG requests Clinton emails from China Ministry of State Security
FAIRFAX, Virginia – Americans for Limited Government Foundation President Nathan Mehrens today issued the following statement upon posting a request to the China Ministry of State Security for Hillary Clinton's email records:
"Hillary Clinton has turned in a blank email server to the FBI in the ongoing investigation into whether classified information was improperly handled on that server. However, it has been reported that Beijing may have been intercepting her emails for years. Given that the Chinese government has an open records policy that sounds very much like the U.S. Freedom of Information Act, Americans for Limited Government Foundation has posted a records request seeking from the Minister of State Security the release of all of Hillary Clinton's emails from her private, non-governmental accounts.
"Naturally, we would assume that the Chinese would redact all classified information to avoid embarrassing former Secretary Clinton. It is our expectation that the government of China will meet their own 30-day window under Chinese law for fulfilling the request."
