Scottsdale Opportunity Expo offers employment options for young adults and teens
For young adults and teens, looking for that first job can be a daunting experience.
Scottsdale’s Opportunity Expo can make that search easier and lead to a quicker trip up the career ladder. The free event geared toward teens and young adults takes place from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at SkySong, 1365 N. Scottsdale Road.
The Expo is recommended for those 16 years or older, including high school and college students.
The Expo offers the opportunity for job-seekers and hiring employers to explore opportunities for summer and year-round employment.
The Scottsdale Opportunity Expo will feature a wide range of Scottsdale-area employers along with representatives from various city of Scottsdale departments. They will offer employment, volunteer and internship opportunities. Mock interviews as well as application and résumé assistance also will be available.
The Scottsdale Opportunity Expo will provide young adult and teen job seekers an opportunity to meet employers that are hiring. It will allow them to explore career options and practice interviewing skills.
