A few of the slate’s wrongs
Please vote for the challengers and vote out the slate. Remember Trenk got on the council the first time because his votes were so low he tied and had to draw cards with Thomas McGuire. Sadly, he won or the New Jersey drug store cowboy might have moved on. Every vote counts since you have seen what slates do and why they need to be vanquished.

Follow the money: It was true in Pottersville, and it’s true in Trenk Town
Well folks, if we have learned nothing in the last couple years of Trenk Town (Cave Creek’s version of the Pottersville that befell Bedford Falls) it is this; if you want to uncover the motive behind the Spitzer/Trenk slate you have to get behind the closed doors and follow the money.

I didn’t attend the candidate forum on February 12. The primary reason I declined the invitation was I felt a forum organized by the candidates themselves – in this case the four councilmen facing recall - would be too prone to bias and self-interest. Adding to my apprehension was that, not only had an agenda been set, one that overflowed with topics embodying their argument against the recall, but questions from citizens were to be limited to the agenda topics only.
