LOS ANGELES – Cal State L.A.'s Athletics Hall of Fame is about to include four new members.
Former head baseball coach John Herbold, two-time volleyball All-American Korina Kemp Riggin, men's soccer star Morten Marthinsen, and Monica Tokoro, the holder of several career records in women's basketball, will be inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame on Tuesday, February 17, in the Golden Eagle Ballroom.

CAVE CREEK – Cave Creek Museum’s popular “Authors’ Month” returns in February! The Museum lined up an exciting roster of authors to speak each Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. in the historic church, followed by a “meet and greet,” book signing and refreshments inside the Museum until 3:30 p.m.

Local climber will lead 5 day hiking and rafting trip
CAREFREE/CAVE CREEK – Local climber and mountaineer, Jessica Zaneis, will guide 12 visually impaired students from the Foundation for Blind Children (FBC) on a week long hiking and rafting trip through the Grand Canyon.
