Cave Creek honored as one of PRCA’s top five small rodeos

CAVE CREEK – During last Monday’s town council meeting, Cave Creek Pro Rodeo (CCPR) President Traci Casale, accompanied by 2014 Rodeo Queen Cassie Robertson and Director Robbie Hall, announced, although they didn’t win, CCPR received recognition as being selected as one of the top five finalists for the 2014 best small rodeo category chosen by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, and showed off the plaque they were awarded.

Hall unveiled a vehicle banner emblazoned with the town’s logo to be used in the Fiesta Days Parade and a custom framed poster designed for one of the rodeo’s major sponsors.

They announced the dates for this year’s rodeo as March 27-29 with the parade to be held at 9 a.m. on March 21, which moves it up a week so there will be no conflicts with Bike Week.
