Kiwanis Concert Series 2014-2015
Kiwanis Club of Carefree is proud to announce the premiere season of Kiwanis Concert Series, raising funds for Kiwanis Club of Carefree Benefit Foundation, Inc.
Next at the Kiwanis Concert Series is Beachfront Property on January 10, 2015. Although it’s not prime real estate along the ocean, Beachfront Property is one hot property, performing everything from the American Songbook of Jazz Classics to the #1 hits of Rock n’ Roll. Described as “sounding like Manhattan Transfer meets Take 6," the group’s smooth singing style combines the rich sounds of jazz with the fun and energy of pop music. Beachfront Property has shared the stage with Mel Torme, The Four Freshman, The Hi-Los, Kenny Rankin, Crystal Lewis, The Brothers Four, and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
All of the Kiwanis Concert Series shows are held at the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion in Carefree Town Center Gardens. A Six Show Package is available for $140. Individual Show Tickets are $30. Dana Daniels "A Riot of Comedy Magic"
Dana Daniels sets out to prove his little green friend (and “straight man”) Psychic Parrot Luigi is truly clairvoyant by performing incredible magic blended with rapid-fire clean comedy and audience participation. The Academy of Magical Arts has repeatedly recognized Daniels for excellence, awarding him Comedy Magician of the Year and Stage Magician of the Year (twice). His many television appearances include “Stand up Live,” “Evening at the Improv,” “NBC's Comedy Club,” “Masters of Illusion” and “Lance Burton's Guerrilla Magic.” Daniels has also opened for such stars as Ray Romano, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Tony Orlando, Randy Travis and Gary Shandling.

Dunlap and Pennington "Two Pianos, Four Hands"
“Funny, entertaining and WOW can they play!” Dunlap and Pennington perform the mega hits of Broadway, cool Pops, hot Jazz and stunning Classical favorites. Todd Oliver & Friends "A Unique Ventriloquist"
Todd Oliver grew up loving dogs, ventriloquism and rock ‘n roll. So what better than to combine them all in “the feel good show of the year”! Todd Oliver and Friends - the “Friends” are Irving and Lucy, two dogs who talk up a storm with help from Oliver - have appeared on “Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and “The Today Show.” If you’ve ever wondered how a dog looks at life, Todd Oliver & Friends in “A Unique Ventriloquist” on March 7, 2015, gives it to you straight from the dog’s mouth.

"Assisted Living, The Musical"
“Assisted Living: The Musical” on March 28, 2015, is for everyone growing older or thinking of doing so. “Wickedly funny!” proclaimed the San Francisco Examiner. Subtitled “Sex, Drugs and Gettin’ Old,” the original play by Rick Compton and Betsy Bennett tells the tale of a newly departed couple who are greeted in the afterlife by Tiny Tim. Soon the couple is revisiting “the best years of their lives” at Pelican Roost, an active senior living community peopled by numerous eccentric residents. Two accomplished actors play all 18 roles, accompanied by a pianist.
