New Scottsdale VA Health Clinic to be announced
SCOTTSDALE – Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ) will join Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane and Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) Interim Director Glenn Costie at a press conference Thursday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. to announce the VA's plans to open a Scottsdale-based clinic next spring. The 6,880-square-foot space will house Primary Care, Mental Health and Laboratory services and is expected to provide care and services to as many as 3,000 Veterans when it opens.
The press conference will be held at the location of the new clinic: 11390 E. Via Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85259.
This new clinic space is a welcome step in the right direction toward improved care for our service men and women,” said Schweikert.
“Our veterans deserve accessible care that meets their medical needs upon separation or retirement from our armed services. This clinic plans to offer increased access to military veterans of Arizona's 6th District and the city of Scottsdale. I look forward to the completion of this transition and hope this new building can provide reliable support for our community.”
