Music Director Laureate Michael Christie returns to The Phoenix Symphony November 21 & 22
“Beethoven and Brahms” Also Features Pianist William Wolfram
PHOENIX –Back by popular demand, Music Director Laureate Michael Christie returns to The Phoenix Symphony November 21 & 22 to conduct Beethoven’s revolutionary Symphony No. 1, which uniquely and boldly advanced the overall symphonic form. Full performances are November 21 & 22 at 7:30 p.m. and the Coffee Classics series takes place November 21 at 11 a.m. All performances take place at Symphony Hall.
Returning to Phoenix with Maestro Christie is internationally recognized pianist William Wolfram, performing Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1. Wolfram's versatile piano technique and immense energy is highlighted by the young Brahms’ complicated and captivating concerto.
Please note that Friday morning Coffee Classics performances feature one hour of music selected from the weekend's program.
