Monica Beal blends work as mom and pianist
Monica Beal is a local pianist and mom of two. Now, instead of using music as a career Beal uses it to help her ten year old son, who has Asperger syndrome, or simply Asperger’s. At age eight, Beal began playing piano.

VA and American Legion to bring ‘Veterans Command Center’ to Peoria
In a continued expansion of its outreach efforts, VA will set up a 'Veterans Command Center' to assist Veterans at American Legion Post 62 on Wednesday August 13 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Post 62 is located at 9847 W. Desert Cove Avenue Peoria, Arizona 85345. Staffers from VA Phoenix Health Care System and the Veterans Benefits Administration’s Phoenix Regional Office will be available to explain and assist with the benefits they administer.
