Rural/Metro Fire Station 826 set to host birthday party on Saturday, April 12
Time flies when you’re saving lives! Recognizing a need to serve the citizens of the Rio Verde corridor in a more efficient manner, Rural/Metro officially opened Station 826 last April. Since that time, the firefighters who staff the station have responded on a variety of calls 24 hours a day. To say thank you to the community, Rural/Metro Station 826 is throwing a party. Please be their guest at the “Open House” pancake breakfast and birthday celebration from 8 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12. In addition to a delicious breakfast, they will have fire apparatus and safety equipment on display. Last year their firefighters were in a position to respond to your home during an emergency from just down the street, now they want to say thank you by inviting you into their home.
