Straight from ‘Shrek The Musical’ on Broadway, Ben Crawford performs at Desert Stages Theatre

SCOTTSDALE – Straight from New York, Broadway star Ben Crawford, known for his role as Shrek from Shrek The Musical on Broadway spends a magical evening away from the big city lights for a one-night performance at Desert Stages Theatre (DST).
This exclusive Broadway meets Scottsdale event is Jan. 12, at 7 pm.
Ben Crawford (l), an Arizona native and graduate of the University of Arizona, made his Broadway debut in 2007 in the revival of Les Miserables. He went on to lead in Shrek the Musical as Shrek and currently portrays Don Prince in Big Fish the Musical on Broadway. Giving back to his hometown, Crawford will perform in the fundraising concert event to benefit Desert Stages Theatre, a nonprofit community theatre.
Tickets are available at www.DesertStages.org; or by phone, 480.483.1664, and also at the theatre box office, 4720 N. Scottsdale Road, north side of Scottsdale Fashion Square. This concert event is a fundraiser – 100 percent of the ticket proceeds benefit DST. Tickets are $60 and include a reception as well as the performance.
