Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk, October 19!
The SUDS Walk is a day filled with inspiration and fun for the whole family! Feel like a rock star as you join 1,500 walkers in front of waving, cheering crowds of 30,000+ at the ASU Homecoming Parade to show your support for acceptance and inclusion of individuals with Down Syndrome! All funds directly support programs to educate, support, and advocate for those in the community impacted by Down syndrome.

Desert Stages Theatre Auditions for ‘Driving Miss Daisy’
Desert Stages Theatre auditions for Driving Miss Daisy are Sun., Sept. 8, 7 p.m. Check in starts at 6 p.m. Register online at DesertStages.org by clicking on the “Audition Corner” icon [lower left] and completing the registration form. Participants are asked to come prepared with a printed and completed form for a smoother audition experience. Call the Box Office at 480.483.1664 for more details. Auditioning actors should come prepared to perform a cold read from the script. Driving Miss Daisy premieres Fri., Nov. 1, 2013 and continues through Sun., Jan. 12, 2014.
Evening Mixer
What: Join the Chamber in hosting its first Freestyle Mixer. The evening will consist of several different local businesses joining together to make this mixer a business building event you won’t want to miss. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.
