Fifth Annual “Broadway Under the Stars” tickets on sale Peoria, Arizona, October 4, 2013
The fifth annual Broadway Under the Stars charity fundraiser is now just over a month away, to be held Friday Evening, October 4, 2013, in the luxurious back yard poolside garden of Don & Carol Bilse in Peoria, AZ. Tickets are on sale now, and all proceeds go to Upward for Children and Families, which provides education and therapy for children with moderate to severe disabilities.
“Billie Eggleston, long time community activist and chairperson of the fundraising committee said, “Now in its fifth year, Broadway Under the Stars is the ‘don’t miss’ charity event of the season. Besides funding the important work of Upward for Children and Families, Broadway Under the Stars promises to be an amazing evening…featuring mouthwatering fare donated by some of the valley’s best restaurants, like the Arizona Broadway Theatre, A Touch of European, Nostalgia, and Haus Murphy. Drawings will be held to give away more than thirty great prizes, including Disneyland passes, and an Arizona Biltmore getaway. Once again, entertainment will be provided by the Arizona Broadway Theatre, and television celebrity Cory McCloskey will serve as our Master of Ceremonies.”
Eggleston, who also serves as Treasurer of the Upward board of directors, added, “Our premier sponsors include the National Bank of Arizona and Robaina & Kreslin PLLC.
Billie Eggleston is joined on the fundraising committee by her husband Tom, Janet Anderson, Don and Carol Bilse, Pamela Coury, Steve and Sandy Frate, Alan Havir, Jim Kieffer, Glendale 
City Councilmember Yvonne Knaack, and Gail Meyers, who provides marketing support. Also on the committee representing Upward are Board President Jim Bissonett, CEO Doug Carter, and Program Director Sharon Graham.
Tickets are just $40 each, and for sale right now by calling Upward at 602-279-5801. Eggleston said, “Every dollar we raise goes directly to Upward, whose mission is bringing hope and joy to the children they serve. Please reserve your space soon, as seating is limited!”
