Desert Stages Theatre Presents The Mousetrap
SCOTTSDALE – Desert Stages Theatre presents The Mousetrap, a murder mystery sure to capture the suspicions and shock its audience, Fri., June 7 – Sun., July 28.
Agatha Christie’s murderous classic The Mousetrap unravels the mysterious murder of a woman at a large guest house in London, where a trap is set to ensnare the perpetrator while the suspects are snowed in together during their stay. The stage is set and, in true Christie fashion, squirrely twists ensue, promising a characteristic all-consuming yarn of suspense.
DST’s intimate 65-seat Actor’s Café delivers the tale in an up-close-and-personal space heightening the suspense, mystery and anticipation for an unforgettable theatre experience.
With a storyline influenced so heavily by its characters, DST’s The Mousetrap‘s cast is sure to deliver. Actors include: Virginia Olivieri as Mollie Ralston; DeJean Brown playing Giles Ralston; Donna Kaufman portraying Mrs. Boyle; Clayton Marlowe as Major Metcalf; Katy Callie playing Miss Casewell; Keaton Honaker portraying Christopher Wren; J. Kevin Tallent as Mr. Paravicini; and Tristin Wood portraying Sgt. Trotter. The Mousetrap is under the direction of guest artist Mark-Alan C. Clemente.
