• Illegals, guns and RINOs
• Cave Creek election

The news was full of articles about the Associated Press eliminating the term illegal immigrant from their style book. No mention of the fact the U.S. government still uses Illegal Alien, as we do, since it is factual.

Are they really that stupid?

As we watch and listen, day after day, week after week as more and more lawmakers, both national and on the state level, write and support new laws infringing on the 2nd Amendment, one question continues to blare out at us.  Can all these people really be that stridently stupid?

Dear gun owner:

After the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, we at Gun Owners of America, like most Americans, were praying for the people of Sandy Hook. We mourned for those families whose children were killed, wounded, and terrified at the massacre that took place. We wondered how many more senseless tragedies would have to happen before the American people demanded an honest and open debate to find real solutions for preventing such violent outbursts against our children.

Cave Creek now and into the future

Thank you for all of the positive comments about my decade of service to Cave Creek. During my three terms on the town council I have played an important role in positioning Cave Creek for a bright future.

The absurdity of “universal” background checks

Those who favor “universal” background checks on gun buyers make some ridiculous arguments. For example, opponents correctly point out that gun buyers with criminal intent will always find channels that require no background check. Gunrunning is among the oldest professions, and the black market will always be with us. Thus the promise of universal background checks – even if that were a legitimate government activity – is a fraud, because universality can’t possibly be achieved.
