Angels and mothers have a lot in common at the Foothills Food Bank

If you want to do something extraordinary for Mother’s Day ...

NORTH VALLEY – This Mother’s Day you can honor the favorite mom in your life, or in her memory, with a donation to the Foothills Food Bank. General donations are always greatly appreciated and now during their capital fund drive, you can also designate “building fund” on your Mother’s Day donation.

The first Wednesday of each month is "senior day" at Fry’s, Bashas’ and Albertsons. For those of us over 55, we get 10 percent off on all the groceries we buy that day. When we turn that savings into extra purchases for the food bank, we turn "senior day" into ANGEL DAY! So anything you can gather up in the form of canned goods and non-perishable dry goods will be greatly appreciated at the food bank.

Especially needed items always appear on the monthly Wish List. On the April Wish List: Juice, Cereal, Jelly, Canned Pastas, Crackers, Pasta Sauce, Sugar, Tea, Canned Tuna, Chicken, Spam, Salmon, Canned Tomatoes, Sauce & Paste, Broth, Condiments, Diapers in sizes 4,5, and 6.

Please bring your donations to the food bank at 6920 E. Cave Creek Road, Cave Creek, AZ 85331 during their business hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9 a.m. –3 p.m.
Thursday & Friday; 1 to 4 p.m. (Except 3rd Thursday of each month)
Tuesday & Thursday from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
