SCOTTSDALE – Desert Stages Theatre presents The Foreigner, a witty comedy, Fri., March 22 – Sun., May 19.

Charlie Baker’s lack of words yields an abundance of knowledge when he and a friend lie about his native language.  Set in a Georgia fishing lodge, the dirty laundry of the other guests seems to effortlessly unfurl before his eyes and ears.

DST’s Actor’s Café and its intimate 65-seat theatre delivers a hilarious story, entertaining the audience as they watch the guests of lodge divulge their secrets to the painfully shy Charlie, posing as a foreigner. The drama unfolds in the up-close-and-personal space making for an undeniably comical experience.

With a storyline influenced so heavily by its characters, DST’s The Foreigner‘s cast is sure to deliver. Actors include: Wade Moran, playing Charlie Baker, the show’s director, Timothy Pittman, playing Owen Musser, Barbara McBain portraying Betty Meeks, Stephen Serns as Rev. David Marshall Lee and Keller Perry playing Ellard Simms, among more.
