ACLU files complaint over Brewer’s driver license directive
PHOENIX – Last Thursday the ACLU filed a class action complaint in federal court on behalf of the Arizona DREAM Act Coalition against Gov. Jan Brewer, Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) Director John Halikowski and ADOT Assistant Director Stacey Stanton over Brewer’s executive order denying driver licenses to illegal aliens granted deferred action under President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Arizona formally declines to set up state health insurance exchange

PHOENIX – On Nov. 28, Gov. Jan Brewer formally advised the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that the state of Arizona will not pursue creating a state-based health insurance exchange and will instead participate in a federally-operated exchange, as per the guidelines of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ObamaCare.
