Holder’s March Madness
I can cite at least four reasons why U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is the most dangerous man in America, but today I want to concentrate on the Department of Justice's role in promoting vote fraud, propelled by the fear that Democrats can't win in November unless they cheat. Holder has already shown he will not prosecute instances of voter intimidation if the violators are black. The watchdog group Judicial Watch investigated a cozy partnership between the DOJ and Project Vote, which is connected to the scandal-ridden ACORN, to use the threat of lawsuits under the National Voting Rights Act to aggressively force the registration of more individuals receiving welfare benefits. Does anyone think this wouldn't help President Obama?
This month Holder shot down the Voter ID law passed in Texas, citing an inconvenience for minority voters to obtain IDs, even though the state would issue them free of charge. Democrats tend to view efforts to protect against vote fraud as racist plots to disenfranchise minority voters. These claims are baseless. In Georgia, turnout there increased dramatically in 2008, the first year after their new photo-ID law went into effect, even among black voters! Vote-fraud expert Brad Zinn claims people are more apt to vote when they think their effort will result in an honest count.
Listen to a presentation given by Zinn on the Constitution and the vote of the people and then tell me if you believe, as do our voting officials, there is no need to worry about the incidence of vote fraud. "I believe that our Constitution is about to be shredded, the Electoral College overturned, and that vote fraud may well determine who the next President of the United States is," Zinn warns. He proceeds to show the vulnerability of our system in three areas: In registration, in the casting of ballots, and in the tabulation of the results.
As Zinn sees it, mail-in ballots are the number one target of folks looking for a fraudulent vote. (I fought against this for years as I did against the mother of all bad ideas, Motor Voter.) And phony registrations lead to ballots in perpetuity per PEVL, or the Permanent Early Voting List, passed in Arizona in 2007 by the state legislature.
"Fraud of the magnitude which swings elections typically combines absentee ballot fraud and voter registration fraud," says Jack Kelly, former Marine and Green Beret and national security writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Arizona used to have Voter Registrars, trained in proper recording. Those days are gone. Zinn tells of the case wherein a 13-year-old illegal immigrant girl was going door to door signing up people who responded to her political questions in the "right way."
Arizona has a lot of snow birds from around the country. The temptation is strong for some of them to cast ballots in both states. Secretary of State Ken Bennett is working with thirteen other states to cross-check voter registrations, since double voting is a felony. To show the importance in choosing Secretaries of State, liberal mastermind George Soros started a project to install as many of them as possible, since he knows who has final control of the vote. Zinn points out the difference between the vote totals for U.S. Senator from Minnesota between Al Franken and Norm Coleman was the number of registered felons. Scary stuff.
Speaking of Minnesota, is there anyone with a computer who hasn't seen the video of folks off the street registering Tim Tebow and Tom Brady to vote, no ID required from anyone?
According to the Pew Center, approximately 1 in 8 active voter registrations in the U.S. are no longer valid or have significant inaccuracies, with nearly 2 million dead people listed as active voters. (That's setting the bar rather low for "activity.")
Leftists dominate the field of election law. This needs to change. And we damned sure need a small army of trained poll watchers. If we can't trust there will be an honest election, nothing else that happens with this country matters. Nothing.
