CASA Charity Chili Cook-off at Frontier Town Saturday, April 9
Seeking Fiesta Day parade entries
CAVE CREEK – On Saturday, April 9, during the 33rd Annual Cave Creek Fiesta Days, the Cave Creek community is fortunate to be the site for the 8th Annual Chili Appreciation Society of Arizona’s (CASA) Chili Cook-Off. Join the members of the Phoenix Pod (club) at Frontier Town from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. after the Fiesta Days Parade and taste some of the best chili on the planet!?Roland Regeon and Denis Huff of CASA.
Several “hot” competitions will be happening during the cook-off – Red Chili, People’s Choice and the Arizona State Green Chili Championship. CASA is very proud and happy to post a banner or listing at the event for your business for acknowledgment of your support.
They are a 501(c)(3) charity group intent on promoting chili events for charity and community assistance, one of six Chili Pods on the same mission around the state of Arizona. Proceeds from the April 9 CASA Chili Cook-Off will be shared equally between Cub Scout Pack 584, Den 2 and Cave Creek Heritage Foundation.
The Chili Appreciation Society International, Inc. is involved in over 500 chili cook-offs per year and raise over $1,000,000 annually for local charities.

This year’s festive Fiesta Days Parade celebrates National Patriotism and takes place on Saturday, April 9 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. through the Town of Cave Creek. Event organizers are seeking parade entries no later than Monday, March 28.
Parade applications are available at www.CaveCreek Rodeo.com. Completed forms can be dropped off at The Document House, 6217 E. Cave Creek Rd. in Cave Creek, or mailed to: FDR Parade, P.O. Box 4458, Cave Creek, AZ 85327. The cost is $40 per entry.
