FALCON STADIUM – Homecoming 2010’s theme is “Scooby Doo and The Case of the Haunted Homecoming.” Had it not been for senior flanker Joree Schneider’s leaping, outfighting catches (both from “wouldn’t quit” sophomore quarterback Bryce Kinsler) in the game’s last five minutes, “Senior Night” would’ve launched a more than “haunted” Homecoming. Tony Matus
I first met Tony Matus last June at Pinnacle’s Passing League Tournament. Early in our Oct. 11 interview for this Profile, Tony allowed as how he was “a pretty good student,” identifying his favorite subjects as English and French. Senior Night honorees, Oct. 8
Friday, Oct. 15, Homecoming Night, vs. Saguaro, is the Falcons’ last home game of the 2010 regular season. Accordingly, “Senior Night,” honoring Football, Band, Pom, Cheer seniors and their respective parents/sponsors, was accelerated to Friday night, Oct. 8.
