Questions voters need to ask

  1. Where and when were all the water tank meetings held? Since hundreds can not fit at the town council where did they take place? Who has the log in of attendees?
  2. Is it not a conflict of interest to have the mayor and town council deciding on the water tank when they also serve on the board of the water company?
  3. Why is an anonymous organization supposedly made up of 20 past directors of the Boulders north involved in the politics of Carefree and the upcoming election? Could it have anything to do with where the current Mayor lives?
  4. Has anyone else lived in a town were all the votes by the town council are unanimous? Don’t we deserve a town council made up of independent thinkers?
  5. Who approved the Hampton Inn and its design and color scheme? Who thought that this would enhance the look of downtown Carefree?
  6. Who decided to hire Coopersmith Brockelman and pay them a significant amount of money to work on initiatives? Is this the best use of our tax dollars? Again is this not a conflict of interest?
  7. Why do the town council and the Mayor think the voters don’t understand how interest and principal repayment work? The debt is the combination of the two, which anyone has ever paid a mortgage understands!
  8. Why did we ever need a Carefree Water Company? Why are our water bills so much higher than our Scottsdale neighbors?

Don’t we deserve a Mayor and town council that have the best interests of our town at heart?
