Thanking those who serve and protect

My name is Cindi Campbell. I live between School House Rd. and Spur Cross on Galloway Wash. It was my house that was entered by the man who our Sheriff’s Department was so hotly in pursuit of Sunday the 20th…. while I was in the house.

I encountered him in my garage as he was trying to steal my car which he had loaded full of items from our home. The reason for my email is I’m hoping you will include a big Thank You and Shout Out to our Cave Creek Division of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department in your story of the incident coming out in the next paper. I would like to thank them publicly and figured through the local paper would be the way to do so.

I can’t say enough about how professionally our local law enforcement handled the scary situation that Sunday. From the dispatcher that handled my frantic 911 call and stayed on the line with me until officers arrived. To the officers that arrived quickly and took the situation very seriously.

They treated me with both respect & empathy. One thing of note that day was the respect & concern the officers displayed for their fellow agents’ safety. They have also remained in contact with us regarding the status and on-going developments in the case. This is one of the things I love about living in this wonder town, the sense of town community. Our local law enforcement team isn’t jaded. They treat criminal situations seriously while caring for both the citizens and their co-workers.

Respectfully,

Cindi Campbell
