Fountain Hills Theater presents Ripcord, the hilarious comedy by David Lindsay-Abaire.
A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden.
Ripcord will play Mar. 18 – April 3. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2PM. Individual tickets are $35.00 for Adults and $18.00 for Youth 17 and under. Seniors receive a $5.00 discount on all Thursday performances. Group rate discounts are available. Veteran and Active Duty discounts. “Little Women”
Fountain Hills Youth Theater is proud to announce the third presentation of their 2021-22 season and their 19th YABOY presentation, “Little Women”.
“Little Women” Is our YABOY production this season. What is a YABOY presentation? YABOY is an acronym for Young Actors Benefiting Other Youth. Each year for the past nineteen seasons we have set aside one show as a special production where we examine issues that our young people face in life and then partner with a local non-profit organization that helps youth in that field. In our past seasons we have tackled such topics as teen homelessness, literacy, eating disorder, and even teen suicide. “Little Women” will be partnering with the Fountain Hills Library Association.
