Chanukah “Community Night” in Carefree

What:   Chanukah in Carefree Community Night

When:  Thursday, Dec. 26, 5:30 p.m.

Where: Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion, 101 Easy St., Carefree

On Thursday, Dec. 26 at 5:30 p.m., the Desert Foothills community is invited to attend the first “Community Night” Chanukah menorah lighting, taking place during the Chanukah in Carefree celebrations in the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion, 101 Easy St. in Carefree.

On this special evening, the community as a whole is invited to lead the prayers and songs, no matter their faith, religion or spiritual beliefs. As each night of Chanukah, the menorah lighting is traditionally led by a different group or family, on Community Night each member of the community will have an opportunity to share a few sentiments about their faith, and what the holidays mean to them and their families.

The menorah will be lit each night of Chanukah, beginning Sunday, Dec. 22 through Sunday, Dec. 29. Each evening’s lighting is open to attendees of all denominations and faiths. For the complete lighting schedule and more information, visit ChristmasinCarefree.com/menorah-lighting.
