In his recent editorial Don Sorchych says that we need a law to prohibit politicians who are Muslims. In addition to being blatantly unAmerican such a law is specifically prohibited by the US Constitution. Article VI says …..”.but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States”. The Constitution only matters to Sorchych when it suits his purpose.
