The Nature of Finance Workshop Series

(North Valley Communities) – Navigating life’s financial milestones can be tricky. Join Desert Foothills Land Trust and professionals from BMO Wealth Management for this free workshop series to help you better understand financial planning for all of life’s situations. Topics will include planning for life’s curveballs like divorce or end of life decisions, building a financial roadmap, and how to talk to your family about money. These workshops are being offered as a benefit for our community – you will not be solicited for products or asked to give a donation.

Planning for Life’s Big Events – Tuesday, January 15th at 9:00am
Significant life changes can throw a curveball at your financial situation. Having a plan in place for starting a family, dealing with divorce or end of life decisions can ease the transition and emotion surrounding challenging events.

Creating a Financial Roadmap – Tuesday, February 26th at 9:00am
Planning for retirement is certainly important. Consideration should also be given to devising a financial roadmap of all financial matters including insurance coverages, titled assets, efficient cash management and more.

Talking to Family about Money – Tuesday, April 12th at 9:00am
This workshop will provide you the tools to help you educate your children about the basics of finance, have openness with your partner, and how to approach discussions around arrangements set by your parents for their again and end of life preparedness.
