Arizona’s tallest Christmas tree sparkles at annual lighting event

Free concert kicks-off holiday festivities

WHAT: Outlets at Anthem welcomes guests to be part of the official lighting of the state’s largest fresh-cut Christmas tree! The exciting and visual event will include the lighting of more than 1.5 miles of LED lights on the 80-foot tall tree preceded by a live concert event featuring several well-known national acts.

This year’s performers and guests include:

  • Epic Recording Artist, AJ Mitchell

  • X-Factor Finalist, John Lindahl

  • All-American Boys Chorus from Los Angeles

  • Santa Claus

The free concert and tree lighting event have been synonymous with the beginning of the holiday season for 17 consecutive years. Guests can also enjoy shopping, food and fun at the fantastic spectacle.

WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018

5–7 p.m.

WHERE: Outlets at Anthem is in Phoenix off the I-17, Exit 229, just 15 minutes north of the Loop 101.

  • Phoenix Mayor (interim), Thelda Williams will read a declaration from Governor Ducey that the Outlets at Anthem’s tree is officially the tallest tree in the state

  • Formal tree lighting with the flip of a giant light switch

  • Musical artists performing on stage during the two-hour event

  • Crowd of nearly 10,000 people in attendance for the lighting and concert
