Dearly beloved, someone finally won the jumbo lottery (Good). So now We the People must wait until that sucker gets big again. Thomas Jefferson stated, “A lottery lays tax only on the willing.” Now that makes sense. The last thing Joe 6 pack needs is to win 100 million dollars and a billion is just ridiculous. During the lottery hoopla it was stated 1in 3 lottery winners go bankrupt. Chances are when (Guy ordinary wins a lot of money he lacks the wear with all to keep it.) OK, Pvt South has a better answer, the reason jumbo lottery’s get so big, you must pick so many numbers, I would rather see several winners just win a million. First, America needs a National Lottery that is available to all 50 states, (Problem…states that have no lottery, the tickets can be purchased in the Federal Post Office.) To play you must 21 and pick 4 numbers, one through 50 for a $1.00 ticket, (Recognizing all 50 states), picking 5 might be too many, (Lottery officials would know.) Depending on the picks some weeks you would have more winners than normal but that is OK. How about no Federal Tax on the winnings? If picking 4 numbers works, then picking 3 will get you nothing. Dearly beloved if you like the idea, then go tell Congress.
The army of Hispanics coming through Mexico and aiming for our US border can now be called, (THE BLUE WAVE). President Trump must shut down the border and don’t wait until it is too late, (The Democrats would love that). Shut it down and cut out all foreign aid to whoever is helping.
