Join the park staff as well as members of the Arizona Archaeological Society and the Cave Creek Museum for this day of fun and learning. Guided hikes to archaeological sites, booths, crafts, lectures, pottery and flint-knapping demonstrations, plus hands-on children’s activities will be featured throughout the day. Hikes require water and appropriate hiking shoes.

Bats: Truth or Tales? Presented by Brian Buttazoni! Join us for this evening program to learn about the wide variety of bats around the world and here in Arizona! You will hear the sounds that bats make, see images of unique species and the places they live. We’ll discuss why it’s important to conserve these nocturnal flying mammals. Meet in the Amphitheater behind the Nature Center. In case of weather issues, this program will be moved inside the Nature Center.
