D-backs players and executives will be dressed in festive holiday attire and help pass out awards to honor the D-backs’ Most Valuable Partners at the seventh annual event that will take place this Thursday at Gila River Casinos’ Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino.
Guests will be welcomed along a red carpet for photo and media opportunities starting at 5 p.m. The awards show will take on the appearance of a late night talk show and will be hosted by Hall beginning at 6 p.m. The entertainment will be provided by D-backs players and front office members that will include musical performances, games and numerous video components that will inject additional humor into the evening throughout the night.
The awards show was designed to honor the best D-backs’ partners in a variety of categories, including: Brand Integration, Multi-Cultural Marketing Award, Marketing Activation, Luis Gonzalez Community Champion Award, D-backs Ambassador, Fans’ Choice Award, Rookie of the Year (first-year partnership), Lifetime Achievement and the Most Valuable Partner Award, which will be given out in two divisions – the Silver Slugger and the Gold Glove.
