On the same day Democrats rolled out their new slogan in response to Americans believing they didn’t stand for anything, these same Democrats voted en masse against a common-sense bill to give veterans the choice of where to seek healthcare.
By voting against this bill, Tom O’Halleran voted AGAINST:
– Providing $2 billion to ensure the extension of the Veterans Choice Program
– Preventing the shuttering of a program that has provided care to more than 1.2 million veterans
– Protecting veterans from being trapped in the VA system rather than allowing them to choose their own healthcare provider
There are 53,482 veterans in Tom O’Halleran’s AZ-1. These brave veterans will be reminded of this unacceptable vote come 2018.
