Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade November 5 in Anthem

anthem parade

The Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade was established in Anthem, Arizona in 2005.  The parade has grown from a small neighborhood parade to one of the most prestigious patriotic parades anywhere. The Parade has highlighted the sacrifices of our veterans, drawn attention to the truth that freedom is not free and shown support to our veterans who have protected those freedoms through service.

The 12th Annual Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade will be held on November 5, 2016, in Anthem beginning at 10 a.m. The parade is free and open to the public.  Parade route begins at Gavilan Peak Parkway and ends at the Community Center.  This year’s parade will honor Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veterans.

On the 25th anniversary of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, we honor the services and sacrifices of Gulf War veterans.  If you are a North Valley resident and have served in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, we invite you to join us as a Grand Marshal.

To join in the fun and highlight your business or organization, become a Parade Participant.  Please submit your entry no later than October 3, 2016. Please join the many individuals and businesses that proudly display the Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade Certificate of Participation.

To show your support, become a parade sponsor.  Daisy Mountain Veterans is a 501(C)3 organization comprised of uncompensated volunteers; all donations and sponsorships are used to defray parade expenses. Excess contributions, if any, are returned to our community in the form of assistance for Veterans and their families.  Please submit your sponsorship registration no later than October 3, 2016 to receive the benefits of sponsorship. Your participation will not be effective until the last page of the Sponsor Packet, and payment have been received.
