The public hearing process for the draft Scottsdale General Plan 2035 has been postponed to provide extended community outreach efforts. Additional open houses will be held this fall with specific dates to be determined. State law requires the city to update its General Plan every 10 years. The General Plan is the primary tool for guiding future development and the character of the city over the next 20 years. The public can review the draft plan and submit feedback at http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/general-plan/general-plan-2035.
