Tolerance of other perspectives
It's been an interesting few weeks with all of the hype about Chick-fil-A and its overt opposition to gay marriage, but I believe it is time to drop the issue. There is no question about where I stand on the gay marriage issue, and I will continue to advocate for equality until every single American is endowed with the same rights and liberties. However, my own values call for tolerance of other perspectives, and this means not condemning someone who sees things differently than I do. Being American means that we have the freedom and liberty to say and believe whatever we choose, and as an individual and CEO of a private American corporation, Dan Cathy has the right to his beliefs as well. His religious convictions tell him that homosexuality is a sin, and he has a right to operate in accordance with his values. What I hope that he and others like him will come to realize is that some people operate under different value and belief systems and that we have just as much of a right to do so as they do.
I believe we should abide by the same expectations we place on others, and that means focusing on promoting our own cause rather than condemning and persecuting someone else's. I don't need to castigate and discount Christian views on homosexuality to make a case for my own belief in equality. It doesn't take oppression of Christian views to demonstrate that granting marriage rights to gay couples is a matter of human dignity and decency. Those who are grounded in their Christian worldview are not going to change their minds even if gay marriage is legalized across the country, and they shouldn't have to. Boycotting and slamming Chick-Fil-A is not going to change Dan Cathy's views and it is not going to help my own cause. If anything, it will only augment the already massive gap between those with opposing beliefs, and everyone knows that America is already divided enough as it is. We don't need to worry about changing the minds of those who disagree with us; we need to worry about getting those who stand with us to take action.

Americans' "storm for freedom" rolls into Chick-fil-A
Before ObamaCare, our USA has/had the "best healthcare system" in the entire world.
In 2010, millions of Americans crowded the Washington Mall protesting President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats' "cram down our throats" 2009 "ObamaCare"; a so-called healthcare program that a majority of Americans did not need and did not want.
President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats ignored the call; however, the American electorate responded in November 2010 by replacing 63 Democrats with Republicans in Congress and "lost many other elections" in State Legislatures.
August 1, 2012 was a "storm of freedom" as President Obama and Capitol Hill Democrats are "cramming" homosexuality and lesbian "marriages" down our throats in an effort to "force" individuals and religious and business organizations to install ObamaCare guidelines that "conflict" with (y)our "Biblical teachings".
Chick-fil-A is/was being forced to accept homosexual and lesbian marriages within their "health insurance" program. Chick-fil-A said they "believed in and supported" a "Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State."
As the issue escalated, August 1 was designated as an "Appreciation Day" to Chick-fil-A. Millions of Americans arrived at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the USA to "eat-more-chicken" in support of Chick-fil-A's position on marriage morality.
August 1, 2012 is the day when millions saw and heard a "storm of freedom" in support of morality that will continue across America through Election Day November 6, 2012.

Chick-fil-A at Tatum and Cactus is being overrun by customers
Lines at the drive through have overflowed into the street blocking traffic.
People are standing in lines two and three deep around the entire building.
The crowd is an apparent backlash against a boycott called for by the gay community angered with the chain's owner, who expressed a political view they do not like. He believes in traditional marriage, a position for which they have shown little tolerance or sensitivity. Polls consistently show broad support for the 5,000-year-old tradition of marriage between one man and one woman.
Outpourings from the gay community have demonstrated enormous amounts of anger and hostility over the subject, as a simple web search reveals, and may have instigated the backlash and boon for the restaurant chain.
It's quite a photo opp. I'm guessing this is not the only Chick-fil-A experiencing the "problem" caused by the GLBT angst.
The restaurant is going to need extraordinary inventory support from their suppliers.

Chick-fil-A Buycott!!
What is Chick-fil-A giving away? Why is their store on the east side of Tatum Road just south of Cactus Road being swamped with customers? At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, the line of customers waiting to get in the front door was more than 60 yards long and the store's drive through was completely lapped and cars were lined up all the way onto Tatum. The folks lining up and waiting to spend their money at this location must have something other than chicken in mind.
And they did. They were there because mayors in Boston, Chicago and San Francisco expressed their dissatisfaction with the religious views of Dan Cathy, the President and COO of Chick-fil-A. Mr. Cathy had the temerity to express his opinion supporting "the biblical definition of the family unit." And, on top of that, his stores are closed on Sunday! These and other liberal mayors won't permit the religious convictions of entrepreneurs to be freely exercised as our Constitution provides to the extent that they question whether Mr. Cathy's stores should be allowed in their cities. Using their elected offices to practice bigotry should not be tolerated. Shame on them.

“Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him” (Proverbs 29:20). This proverb by wise King Solomon applies to a politician so eager to persuade people that he will use hasty words in making many empty promises to get elected.
President Obama recently stated that “Capitalism does not work nor has it ever worked.” Americans will never believe that. Why didn’t Obama say that before the election? We are finally learning what Obama really believes in his heart and it’s not good news for America.
Free market capitalism and individuality will soon be a thing of the past. His attacks on capitalism and small businesses prove that. Obama’s real “hope and change” has not been exposed for what it really is: anti-Americanism.
GE outsources many thousands of jobs overseas and for that it is exempted from any taxes. Small businesses create many more jobs here at home and are punished with heavy taxes and many restrictions.
America’s MIA’s, POW’s and VETERANS all died in VAIN in past wars if we now become a socialist/communist nation. They suffered and sacrificed their lives fighting for freedom, not slavery.
The Tea Party Patriots, the courageous Governor and the brave voters of Wisconsin have led the way to correct our nation to a government “of the people, by the people and for the people,” once again. America is still a Representative Republic.

MSNBC's careful editing of the audio-tape of the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin confrontation is reminiscent of the TV report of years ago, where a TV news giant (can't remember which one) carefully rigged a car with incendiary devices to prove to the nation that some cars are likely to erupt in flames after a crash and fuel leak. The filming crew tried again and again to record a car fire, but none erupted, so … they rigged incendiary devices for a proper conflagration. That was what we U.S. tellywatchers saw.
MSNBC is Dear and Glorious Ruler's staunchest cheerleader, and is quick to present whatever "news" can benefit that ruler, even before he makes a public statement. Remember that one of the Chicago mob's mottoes is, "Never let a crisis go to waste." The television giant certainly jumped the gun to present what it feels Dear and Glorious Ruler would want to propose.
Soviet-style AgitProp (Agitation and Propaganda) is in full swing in Obama's USSA, and MSNBC is its main operative.

The media is not biased?
Before turning off the Olympics I was amazed at how official ceremonies were trying to support ObamaCare. England's ObamaCare: Got Tooth Problem? They pull your teeth and give you dentures. Granted the Brits live longer than us or New Zealand. But then again only the USA and New Zealand allow advertising of pharmaceuticals! More people die from legal pharmaceuticals than car accidents here in the USA. Make no mistake about it. Associated Press and the major media love debauchery and if it feels good do it society. They would love 4 more years of Obama. Under normal circumstances I might not give a damn, but we may not survive the first 4 years of Obama. So I know with certainty that we could not survive 4 more.

Regarding the Olympics
The Olympic Games, held this year in London, are the greatest sports event in the world, drawing athletes from the myriad nations of the world to one city. The games are an important school to educate participants and spectators in important values, including self-sacrifice and respect for one's adversaries. They provide an opportunity to overcome the logic of individualism and selfishness, which often characterize human relations, in order to make room for the logic of brotherhood and love, the only things that can lead to promoting the common good on every level.
The games have important symbolic value, and for that reason they should be looked upon with special fondness and attention. In the spirit of the "Olympic truce" the international sporting event provides an opportunity to promote peace and reconciliation throughout the world. The Olympic truce tradition, originating in eighth-century B.C. Greece, asked that all wars and conflict be suspended before and during the games as a way to make sure participants could travel to and from the venue safely. Let us pray that all nations will respect this truce and learn to live together in complete love and harmony.

Rush calls on Obama to show grades from Harvard
No one can deny Rush is the King and millions of people, everyday, tune in to hear his take on things. Of course he is the one who we can depend on for sound information and a good perspective on what's happening out there on the fruited plain.
But what Rush does better than anyone who ever has tried, is tweak the left. Whether it be the political buffoons in Washington or the sanctimoniousness news media, they just don't get it and they never will.
That is what makes Rush so much fun. While Rush may send the same message as Glenn Beck, he does it with charm in such a way that his listeners feel there may be some hope. Twenty minutes with Glenn Beck and we all start looking for the highest bridge.
There is an audio (www.youtube.com/watch?v=D24BrasEh3k) of Rush requesting Obama release his Harvard transcripts, because a supposed caller claimed he went to school with the usurper, and according to this guy, Obama was the worst student ever to graduate from that school.
While its entirely possible he was the worst, Rush no doubt fabricated this guy to show the absurdity of Harry Reid saying he knows someone who knows Romney is a tax cheat. Reid has offered no proof or the identity of this guy but none the less, the news media is all over it.
The point is, just suggest something about a Republican and the entire press corps responds like its a call to arms. But if you are a an elected Sheriff with 50 years of law enforcement experience and you hold a press conference which spells out absolute proof that Obama has forged birth certificates and Selective Service documents the entire main stream media scurry into dark corners like the cockroaches they are.
Australian citizens under assault
The dire results of what happens to the law abiding citizen when only criminals are armed is now clear and unequivocal. At the cost of freedom, property and life the people of Australia have served as guinea pigs and have proven, once and for all, what anyone with half a brain already knew.
This message is not for the liberal and Marxist government entities here in America and around the world, because these facts are not lost on them. In fact they survive and thrive when citizens are kept uneducated, uninformed and unarmed. This is their game plan in that it dwells in every aspect of total government control.
1. The people will no longer be dependent on themselves and each other, but will perceive government to be their protector even if it never is.
2. An unarmed citizenry is a compliant citizenry.
As history has shown, over and over, Marxist and Communist governments use the useful idiots of society that have fallen for their propaganda to help them get complete control, then they are washed away and all of society becomes one, poor and controlled people while the ruling class 1 percent, caring not about trickle down or trickle anything except authority, lives in luxury and dominance.
American people, Democrats, Republicans or Independents, if you think that you will be safer, from criminals or your government, if you allow them to disarm you, when the real light is shown, it will be too late and it will be your own fault.
It has begun here. The Constitution is the only thing standing in their way and everyday its authority is being eroded as even the conservatives in talk radio and elsewhere ignore parts of the Constitution that are uncomfortable to them.
They will be as much responsible for the loss of American freedom as those useful idiot masses the Marxists depend on, and then they will understand just what uncomfortable is.
