Cave Creek Museum to host “Antique Appraisal Days” and “The Good Ol’ Days” Children’s Program in January
CAVE CREEK – Cave Creek Museum is gearing up for an exciting New Year! See what’s in store for you in January:
Saturday, Jan. 22:“The Good Ol’ Days” Children’s Program, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Have you ever wanted to step into a time machine? Transport yourself to the days of the pioneers and experience the lives of people from yesterday. Weave a wagon wheel rug. Do laundry with a washboard. Experience other 19th century chores. Play period children’s games. Immerse yourself in “The Good Ol’ Days” with fun, food, games, crafts, and hands-on activities!
Suggested ages: 5 to 12. Free with advanced reservations. Space is limited. Call 480-488-2764.
Friday – Saturday, January 28 – 29: “Antique Appraisal Days”; 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Appraiser Sean Morton will examine your treasures, discuss their origins, and assess their value. Mr. Morton is a member of the Antiques Appraisal Association of America and has more than 20 years experience in the fine arts and antiques field.
Fee: $20 per item – limit of two items per person per session. You may attend more than one session.
Located at 6140 Skyline Dr., Cave Creek Museum features an extensive collection of prehistoric and historic artifacts that describe the lives of Native Americans, miners, ranchers and pioneers.
The museum hours are Wed., Thurs., Sat. and Sun. from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Fri. from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Entrance fees are $5 for adults; $3 for seniors; and $2 for students. Children 12 and under are free.
