Sixth Annual ACNV Regional Teen Art Competition and ‘Artists in Studio’ Exhibit
Presented by The Arts Council of the North Valley
ANTHEM – Emerging young artists from North Valley high schools will exhibit their work as part of the 6th Annual Regional Teen Art Competition. The exhibition, which is open to the public, will be held on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday April 17 from 10 to 5 p.m. at the Outlets at Anthem.
"Artists in Studio" will feature mixed media, ceramics, oil. acrylic and more.
Students will be recognized at an awards ceremony (open to the public) on Sunday, April 17 from 3 – 5 p.m.
Date: April 16-17; 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This year's Regional Teen Art Competition theme takes liberties from Rembrandt's "Artist in His Studio", a self-portrait of Rembrandt painted in 1628.
Starting from the bright color of the floor; our eyes move from the frame of the painting to the artist. The relative sizes of the painting and Rembrandt's figure radiate one message, as most of the paintings done by the master artists do:
The message ... art is always bigger than the artist.
