Body of missing mountain biker found on Section 16
PHOENIX – The search is now over for Howard George Deshler, 69, whose body was discovered by a family member on Wednesday morning in an undeveloped desert area of the Lennar/Pulte Lone Mountain community under construction on Section 16 in northeast Phoenix, only about a mile from his home.

CAVE CREEK – Call to the Public brought Arek Fressadi to the podium during Monday night’s council meeting. Now that he’s pulled a mayoral candidate packet, he no longer claims to be living in Tucson “in exile from Cave Creek.” Instead, he provided the address of his School House Road property, adding, “I also own a ranch in Tucson.”

CCUSD – According to A.R.S. § 15-511, “A person acting on behalf of a school district or a person who aids another person acting on behalf of a school district shall not use school district or charter school personnel, equipment, materials, buildings or other resources for the purpose of influencing the outcomes of elections … Employees of a school district or charter school may not use the authority of their positions to influence the vote or political activities of any subordinate employee.”

Illegal alien in love triangle with juvenile held for attempted murder
PHOENIX – Phoenix police arrested Manuel de Jesus Quintero, 19, on Oct. 26 and booked him into Maricopa County Jail on charges of murder in the first degree and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person. The charges are considered non-bondable as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has placed a detainer on Quintero, which, according to Vincent Picard, ICE public affairs spokesman, “simply indicates ICE has an interest in reviewing Mr. Quintero’s immigration status and ensures that he will be transferred to ICE custody following adjudication of his criminal charge.” Keep reading ...
