Ventana Academy hosts Luv Shack Trainers’ Challenge during Wild West Days
Rescue horses available for adoption
CAVE CREEK – Horses that are abused, neglected and sent for slaughter are rescued and rehabilitated by Luv Shack Ranch, a non-profit organization.
During Wild West Days in Cave Creek, November 5-7, Ventana Academy will host a trainer’s challenge during which eight Luv Shack horses rescued from slaughter will show what they have learned after working for 90 days with professional trainers.
During the trainers’ challenge, spectators will see which pair has made the most progress. The challenge will take place on Sunday, November 7 at TC’s Arena at 3:30 p.m. At the conclusion of the event, the horses will be available for adoption.
Wild West Days is Arizona’s largest all western event.
