There will be no parking or gate fee on Monday, Oct.11 (a holiday) for families to enjoy the carnival rides only.
The Wayne Wilson Children’s Charity Rodeo and Carnival is an annual event that supports the needs of the youth in our community while promoting education and outdoor sports. The DFCA proudly produces events that promote and preserve the western heritage of our community, the State of Arizona and the USA. All proceeds from the Wayne Wilson Children’s Charity Rodeo and Carnival support local charities including the Wayne Wilson Scholarship Fund. The event is named in honor of Wayne Wilson, Cave Creek’s former “rodeo boss,” who believed every child deserves the opportunity to become successful and have a better life than his or her parents.
