Cactus Shadows 2010 Cross Country Captains!

Since the second week in June, Cross Country Head Coach Patty Egan’s athletes have gathered in the CSHS parking area at 6:30 a.m., then run four-six miles! With CSHS opened, the harriers practice at the same distance in August’s triple-digits! Now that’s commitment!

Sonoran News is pleased to introduce the 2010 Cross Country captains. For the girls, senior Kaitlin “Kate” Accola, daughter of Creekers Paul and Gina Accola. For the boys, Co-Captain David Tze (pronounced “Zee,” on left), a junior, son of north Scottsdalians Michael and Eve Tze, and Co-Captain Dylan Lenzen, also a junior, son of Creekers Glen and Lisa Lenzen. Congratulations to the former “The Ac-Attac” and Messrs. David and Dylan. More Cross Country next issue.
