CSHS – The celestial Rodney Dangerfield must be smilin’, because the Football Falcons are going to receive media “respect,” big-time, in the first two games of their 2010 season. Opening at Falcon Stadium, Friday evening, Sept. 3, the Falcs vs. (Vail) Cienega’s Bobcats will be the game-of-the-week on Channel 12’s “Friday Night Fever,” the postgame television show hosted by local sports media favorite Bruce Cooper, who will select Falcons to appear in-studio with him.   Keep Reading ...

At the mid-December 2009 Football Awards Banquet, Head Coach Chad DeGrenier unintentionally “stole (this writer’s) thunder” when he named back-up quarterback and placekick holder Paul Walsh as the second recipient of the “Falcon Triple Crown Award,” honoring Walsh’s leadership, athleticism and scholarship.
