Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia tees it up for Team W.I.S.H. Arizona Breast Cancer Fundraiser

ANTHEM – Calling all golfers!  The U.S. Open golf tournament has tested Phil Michelson and Tiger Woods’ golfing abilities on the incredible links of Pebble Beach but how would you like to play on the 2008 Golf Digest Magazine’s 5-Star Award Golf Course, right here in Arizona!

“This is such a great opportunity to bring our community, local businesses and golfers together for a great day of golf, for such a great cause,” states Jack Larue of Trilogy Golf Course.  “We are so proud to partner with Team W.I.S.H. and raise funds for such an incredible cause, to help fight breast cancer!”

Get ready, put together a team or sign up as a single and they’ll create a team for you.  Tee off is 8 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 21 with a shot gun start for the scramble format event.  Before tee time you’ll have plenty of time at the driving range or putting green to practice.  At the end the day, the winning team will be presented with a ‘grand prize’ plus great raffle prizes for everyone followed by a light lunch.

Jo-Ann Greenstein, supporter of Team W.I.S.H. Arizona and associate planner of the event states, “We are so excited to be working with Trilogy and their management team for a cause that is so near to everyone heart and we hope everyone will come out for a great day of fun and golf!”

Funds raised will help over 43 team members, from all over the state, participate in the 2010 AZ 60 Mile Walk benefiting Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure.  Each member must raise $2,300 to be part of the Nov. 12-14 walk in the Greater Phoenix Area. Since the birth of Team W.I.S.H. Arizona in 2004, they have raised over $928,000 and hope to break the $1 million mark this year!

Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia is a recent recipient of the coveted Golf Digest Magazine Best Places to Play Award.  Trilogy is the only Arizona facility to receive the 5-Star designation.  Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia is located 25 minutes northwest of Phoenix in Peoria, Arizona.  The golf course and clubhouse, featuring fine fare at Verde Grill, are both complementing components of the recreational amenities of the residential resort community developed by Shea Homes.
