Boy Scouts celebrating 100 years in America
2010 marks the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. This year also marks the National Jamboree in Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia.
Scouts from all over the country and the world will be celebrating 100 years of Boy Scouting. Troop 2017 is just one of the Troops from the valley that are representing Arizona this year. These boys and their leaders have spent the last year earning money and preparing for this event. The boys will start their trip going to various historical sites from Boston all the way to Virginia including our nations capital.
Scouting teaches our youth valuable life skills and supports solid values.
