Sonoran Arts League awards scholarships

The Sonoran Arts League will be presenting scholarship monies to three Cactus Shadows High School graduating seniors. These scholarships are being presented to honor and encourage the artistic development of outstanding high school seniors who have excelled in the visual arts field and who have enrolled in an educational program leading to a career in the arts.

Those students receiving these scholarships are:
Taylor Marques, $1000 Sonoran Arts League Scholarship
Merrit Thompson, $1000 Sonoran Arts League Scholarship
Megan Koth, $1000 Stuart Otis Scholarship

The students will be recognized at the Senior Awards presentation at Cactus Shadows High School on May 17.
