Sonoran Stars: Cowboy Jubilee
April 14, 2010
CAVE CREEK – Sonoran Stars: Cowboy Jubilee on April 24 is the place to be for everyone who wants to create a legacy that will last millennia!
Desert Foothills Land Trust’s annual “signature event,” Sonoran Stars raises funds to support the Land Trust’s work on 16 preserves and its goal of protecting 10,000 acres of unprotected public land and 1,500 acres of private lands over the next ten years.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of this popular event, Sonoran Stars has more of everything that creates a memorable evening: a significant cause, gourmet dining and fine wine, silent auction, a raptor release, dancing under the stars, and exciting entertainment.
Sonoran Stars is pleased to present two of America’s most highly respected artists on stage with their bands, country music legends Lacy J. Dalton and Rex Allen Jr. It’s truly a Cowboy Jubilee!
Sonoran Stars starts at 5:30 p.m., with cocktails and a silent auction. The auction offers a range of exceptional opportunities. Beautiful Golden West Cowgirls will tempt you with raffle tickets, so bring your wallet!
Dinner, beginning around 6:15 p.m., is made even more special by the gorgeous setting and spectacular Arizona sunset. A short Land Trust program with an emotional Wild-at-Heart owl release follows dinner.
Enjoy the best of country and western music after dinner when Rex Allen Jr. and Lacy J. Dalton take the stage!
